Pedro DeBrito: Former collegiate and professional soccer star, former SASL player, Connecticut soccer legend and inductee of the Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame, who passed away on 5th July, 2014 aged 55 after suffering injuries in an automobile accident in Miami, Florida.
Frank Kantz: Player, referee, referee assessor, Connecticut soccer legend and inductee of the Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame, who passed away peacefully on 4th August, 2010 aged 81.
Marco Ventura (Vasco da Gama CC): SASL manager and player who passed away after illness with cancer on 19th April, 2008 aged 39.
Dave Carmody (West Haven Grays SC): SASL administrator, manager and player who passed away after illness with cancer on 29th June, 2007 aged 66.
Mike Winnall (Greenwich Arsenal SC): SASL manager and player who passed away after illness with cancer on 27th July, 2004 aged 50.
Bert Larson: CSSA administrator, former player, and inductee of the National Soccer Hall of Fame and Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame, who passed away peacefully on 9th January, 2003 aged 90.
Joe Calvo (North Branford SC): SASL manager and player who passed away after a sudden heart attack on 11th February, 2001 aged 49.
Hubert Williston (Windsor United SC): SASL manager and player who passed away after a long battle with cancer on 31st December, 1999 aged 43.
