The usage of linesmen is discussed at the Annual General Meeting in January at the Cromwell Radisson.

The League grew again when the Third Division was split into Third Division East and Third Division West. The League was fast approaching the goal of having First through Fourth divisions.

Waterbury PSC 'A' acquired sponsorship and so became Waterbury Morse Watchman, hence Waterbury PSC 'B' reverted back to their old Waterbury Portuguese name.

The other Waterbury team became Waterbury Albanians, formally.

Weston Inter AC underwent yet another name change, to Connecticut Rhinos.

Hartford Cavaliers formed a second team, but rather than having 'A' and 'B' teams like some clubs in the past, the new team was called Negus United.

Another Connecticut Soccer League First Division team underwent the transformation to Over-30. Waterford SC joined the SASL.

West Haven International also join the League with players from West Haven RTG and the defunct West Haven Savin Rockers team.

There was no sponsorship for the League this year.

Waterbury Morse Watchman win the League and Cup "Double" which was rapidly becoming a formality!

Garry Archer resigns as League Corresponding Secretary in December.
