At the Annual General Meeting in January at the Cromwell Radisson Andy Aldo was voted in as Vice President, the position vacated by Vic Smith in 1994. West Haven RTG manager Dave Carmody was voted into Andy's old position as League Recording Secretary.

New Haven Italians had been playing in Wallingford for several seasons now and their name was not helping them to obtain fields in town. Wallingford Ginos were about to fold, so instead, the two teams merged to form Wallingford N.H. United (no guesses for what "N.H." stands for!) to keep the Ginos players playing and to help The Italians obtain fields.

Big changes in Orange! The 3 Brothers sports shop sponsorship was exchanged for Burger King. The SC Nutmeggers (SC for South Central) had played their games in Orange for some time and hence this season they became plain and simple Orange SC.

Fairfield Inter AC changed towns and became Weston Inter AC.

Innocents SC founder and manager Franz Innocent retired from running the team at the end of 1994. Hubert Williston became the new manager and moved the team from Wethersfield to Windsor, changing the name of the team to Windsor United.

Derby New Old Boys became Derby Marios and New Haven Cosmos became New Haven Americans.

Two new teams entered the League. Colchester SC was managed by former Hamden Conte player Hugo Vivero. Lubi Brookfield came from the same New York league as Connecticut Internationals as it was now widely recognised that the SASL was a hugely successful and superior Over-30 league.

Umbro International sponsored the SASL again.

Cheshire Azzurri became the third club to win the League and Cup "Double," the third club to do so in only four seasons. This achievement was becoming more the norm than the exception!
