This is the first year the whole calendar year is treated as one complete season, combining Spring and Fall records into one League table.
The second edition of the Official SASL Rules was printed and distributed.
Waivers were first introduced. The original was drafted by lawyer Peter Manko, a player at Clinton Thistle.
A new team, "The Italians," originally played at Foran High School in Milford. They also heard about the League from the Milford Tuesday Night Soccer Club. Frank Piscelli was a member of the TNSC and he organised Italian friends of his from the Connecticut Soccer League to play in the SASL.
