The League was now strictly Over-30 since the departure of Guilford United. To enforce this new rule, player passes were first used in the Fall.

Kevin Burke, formerly of Liverpool, England, now of the Wallingford team became the first League Registrar.

Garry Archer of Clinton became the League Secretary, officially now. Both volunteered their services after some coercion from Commissioner Alfie Campbell!

The older Guilford team, the Old Pharts, had split into two factions. Their new names depended on the colour of their shirts! North Branford divided again.

Cheshire also saw a minor splinter. A couple of their players joined a mostly Portuguese team. This team called themselves Cheshire Portuguese when they visited Clinton for a friendly during the summer. When the team joined the League they carried the name of their sponsor, a gas station in Cheshire. This sponsorship was a first for the League. South Main Mobil shared their ground at La Salette with the other Cheshire team.
