Men's Over-65 Division Georgia Rovers/North Carolina United Over-65s are the Champions of their division, but not without the help of three well-known Connecticut players -- Vic Smith and the Zimmitti brothers, Carl and Eddie. Vic is a former president and vice-president of the Shoreline Adult Soccer League (serving from 1987 through 1994) and is also a personal friend of mine (I've known him since 1981). He still plays Over-40 league soccer on Sundays, aged 67 at the time of writing. Eddie Zimmitti was inducted into the Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame in 2004. Carl Zimmitti is currently playing in the SASL Masters League (also Over-40s) for Cheshire United FC. The Pictures!
