It was a VERY hot day!!! For the 3rd round, with several
players leaving early and a couple with muscle or ligament pulls,
it was decided to combine Southbury and Shelton into one team and combine Madison and Central into one team too.
The two teams played against eacher in a 12-a-side game. Southbury+Shelton won 2-0. For the sake of the standings,
Southbury Boomers and Shelton Vasco da Gama CC were both awarded a 2-0 win and subsequently, Madison AFC and
Central FC were awarded a 2-0 loss. |
