Norwalk Mariners SC in the Fall of 2009

Player Keith Lee Segovia passed away on January 8th, 2010 after losing his battle with colon cancer. On March 28th, 2010 Norwalk Mariners SC held a special shirt retirement ceremony prior to an SASL league match with Milford Tuesday SC and pronounced it "Keith Lee Segovia Day." The match was played at West Beach Park, Stamford,CT (Keith's Home town). Included in the picture are Norwalk Mariners SC players and members and friends of the Segovia family. Details of the Shadow Box Frame in the centre are below.

The Shadow Box Frame contains Keith's shirt with "KLS 15" memorial patch (worn by all Norwalk Mariners SC players), a team picture, Keith's picture, the Norwalk Mariners SC logo, the blue wrist band Keith wore during his battle with colon cancer (Cancer Awareness), his SASL Player Pass, Keith's 2007 SASL Second Division Championship Winners Medal and a gift wrist watch that is awarded to all retired Norwalk Mariners SC players.
